I took this photo around ten pm. The winds were driving the fire east and north, so we didn't get as much smoke down here today and I only caught occasional glimpses of the smoke column during the afternoon.

We noticed the first wisps of smoke about six-thirty last night. It was a clear evening so what looked like clouds over the hills made us look twice. About ten-thirty, we drove up on Diamond Ridge for this view.
