I took these photos on my trip into town to work and back home afterward.
It is trite but true--if you don't care for the weather around here, just wait a while.
Heading out from the house, I encountered snow and fog along our little road. But after going just a mile or so, the clouds began to open up.
By the time I was descending from the bluff into town, the sunlight had broken through and was coaxing steam-fog from the wet ground and roadway.
Throughout the afternoon, snow flurries moved through the area but about 8 pm the skies cleared behind the cold front and by the time I drove home, I could take this photo (blurry because I was driving) of the sunset to the northwest.
